Hi, I’m

Laura.

From an early age, I was that kid who repeatedly asked: Why?

Today, I bring the same spirit of curiosity to the world of wellness, daring to ask the key questions, such as:

  • Why is it that wellness is one of the fastest growing industries, and yet, America’s wellbeing is stagnating?

  • Why are 80% of eligible employees opting out of company wellness programs?

  • Is changing our mindset really the answer – or is it more about changing the environment?

No surprise, I’m an educator, trained by Ted Sizer at Brown University, who was one of the world’s leading pioneers in educational reform. As a Teaching Assistant of his and then public high-school teacher working in some of America’s most challenging urban schools, I learned that transformational learning and innovation begins with asking big questions.

Because solving for the right problem begins with asking the right questions.

Handstander.

For nearly two decades, I’ve worked with 500+ organizations, I’ve trained 50,000+ leaders worldwide, I’ve keynoted in over 25 countries - and I’ve done a lot of handstands along the way.

I’ve been able to help leaders and employees re-imagine and re-invigorate the workplace. My work has been covered by MSNBC, FOX News, The New York Times, US News & World Report, Entrepreneur, Business Insider, Globe & Mail, NPR, and many others. I’m a former teacher, dancer, gymnast and now a movement-builder in the world of health and wellness.

My specialty has been empowering managers to become Wellbeing Multipliers, driving “middle-out” movements of wellbeing across the organization.

A Catalyst for

Wellbeing

I developed a simple, yet surprisingly effective leadership framework called The Multiplier Method that has been proven to increase productivity, enhance engagement, and advance a company’s culture – through the lens of wellbeing.

This method has been leveraged by leading companies like Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. It’s been licensed by forward-thinking firms like CGI to train their leaders. And its impact has been cited by institutions like the Mayo Clinic as evidence to the power of managers in elevating wellbeing at work.

In every keynote and every workshop, I talk about these evidence-based practices & share my real-world experiences, in a relatable and humorous way, to help people like you walk away inspired, activated & ready to make a difference for the people you lead.

“Women across our field look up to Laura for mentorship, guidance, and friendship.”
